Flora’s global brand refresh: A seamless packaging transformation

Sun Branding collaborated with Flora Food Group to implement a refreshed brand identity across multiple global markets

Sun Branding collaborated with Flora Food Group to implement a refreshed brand identity across multiple global markets. The objective was to position Flora as a rich and creamy plant-based alternative to dairy, emphasising its versatility in cooking, baking, and spreading. The updated design aimed to provide a modern and distinctive appearance while preserving familiarity for existing consumers.

The project involved adapting the new identity to six distinct global brand portfolios spanning over 14 markets. This encompassed various product formats, including spreads, blocks, creams, and new product developments. The creative and technical teams at Sun Branding produced over 150 unique packaging designs, ensuring consistency across different substrates, print methods, and languages.

To maintain brand integrity, Sun Branding managed intricate colour palettes and paper-texture backgrounds, collaborating with local markets and printers to ensure the precise execution of the Flora brand elements. Comprehensive brand guidelines were developed to facilitate ongoing adaptations, providing clear instructions to uphold the new identity’s consistency.

Within four months, over 300 production-ready files were delivered, supporting Flora’s global launch. This initiative reinforced Flora’s commitment to offering natural and nutritious plant-based products, presenting consumers with a compelling choice that highlights quality and modernity.

There’s no information written down anywhere. You ask a shop assistant for help, but they don’t seem to understand what the problem is. You’re left feeling frustrated and isolated, when all you wanted to do was pick up a quick snack.
