- Accessible packaging design guide: Microsoft introduced this guide to promote the creation of packaging that is both accessible and sustainable, moving away from traditional plastic clamshells.
- AI enhancements: Upcoming features include AI-powered image descriptions in Narrator and improved speech recognition accuracy, benefiting users with non-standard speech patterns.
- Collaborations: Partnerships with organisations like Tobii Dynavox and Special Olympics aim to integrate AI solutions into assistive communication devices and athletic training programmes.
These initiatives underscore Microsoft’s dedication to developing technology that is accessible to all, fostering a more inclusive digital environment.
London Packaging Week, on 15 &16 October 2025 at Excel London, serves as a pivotal event for packaging innovation across various sectors, including luxury, premium drinks, beauty, and FMCG.
