About us
# VAIDER GROUP
Vaider Group is a European manufacturer of **premium glass packaging**, with two production sites, **Steklarna Hrastnik in Slovenia and Vaider Srpska Fabrika Stakla in Serbia**, and a sales office in **Cognac, France**.
Our glassmaking tradition dates back to **1860**. Today, we combine more than 160 years of glassmaking knowledge with modern production, product development, an in-house Design Studio and decoration.
We specialise in glass packaging for **spirits, wine, water and other beverages, food, cosmetics, perfumery and home fragrance**.
Our offer includes the growing **Vaider Group Collection** and fully bespoke glass packaging. We support projects from the first idea to the finished bottle, including design, technical development, mould development, sampling, decoration and serial production.
For brands looking for more than a standard container, we develop glass packaging with a strong focus on **design, glass quality, technical precision and detail**.
## VAIDER GROUP COLLECTION
The **Vaider Group Collection** brings together a broad portfolio of premium glass packaging in different shapes, sizes and styles.
The collection covers:
* spirits and liqueurs
* wine
* water and non-alcoholic beverages
* food
* cosmetics
* perfumery
* home fragrance
Available sizes range from **50 ml and 100 ml** to standard formats such as **500 ml, 700 ml and 750 ml**, with larger formats up to **2,650 ml**, depending on the bottle family.
Several bottle families are available in multiple sizes, giving brands a consistent packaging design across different products and volumes.
Bottles from the collection can be further developed through **decoration, colour, printing, closures and other details**. This creates room for a distinctive brand identity while using an established glass design.
## BESPOKE DEVELOPMENT
Bespoke development is an important part of our work.
We develop individual glass packaging for brands that need their own bottle design, from the first concept through to industrial production.
Projects can start with a brief, sketch, reference bottle or an existing design. Our designers, engineers and glassmaking specialists work together throughout the development process.
Our capabilities include:
* concept and bottle design
* technical development
* shape and weight optimisation
* embossing and debossing
* base and punt development
* closure compatibility
* mould development
* samples and prototypes
* decoration development
* industrialisation
* serial production
Design and technical feasibility are developed together from the start. Shape, proportions, weight, glass distribution, base, closure and decoration are considered as parts of the same bottle.
## DESIGN STUDIO
Our in-house **Design Studio** develops bespoke bottles and new designs for the Vaider Group Collection.
The designers work directly with engineering and production teams, bringing together the visual and technical sides of glass packaging development.
The team can develop a bottle from an initial idea, continue an existing customer design or prepare a concept for industrial glass production.
This close connection between design and manufacturing is particularly important in premium packaging, where small details in proportions, glass distribution, base design and surface treatment can make a significant difference to the finished bottle.
## DECORATION
Our decoration capabilities add another level of customisation to both collection and bespoke bottles.
We offer different **spraying, printing and finishing options**, with solutions developed according to the bottle and project requirements.
Colour, transparency, surface finish and print can be used individually or combined to create a specific look and feel.
Decoration can be included from the beginning of a bespoke development or used to give an existing bottle from our collection a distinctive brand identity.

Today, the site specialises in **premium glass packaging** and has extensive experience in technically demanding bottle production, bespoke development and decoration.
Hrastnik has particularly strong expertise in glass packaging for **premium spirits**, alongside production and development capabilities for wine, beverages, food, cosmetics, perfumery and home fragrance.
The site is also an important centre for design and product development within Vaider Group. Designers, engineers and production specialists work together on customer projects and new additions to the Vaider Group Collection.
Steklarna Hrastnik has invested extensively in modern glassmaking technology, including **oxy-fuel technology, increased electrical input and the development and testing of hydrogen-based solutions for glass production**.
