Cold foil rigid box

We wrapped this rigid box with PU leather like material and embossed textured paper. To enhance the printed details and visual effects on the top panel, we applied two-tone stamping, inline cold foil printing and double-layer debossing to add greater visual depth to the design. Soft-touch lamination is also coated on the surface to create an ultra-smooth tactile sensation.
As for the inner lid, we employ the same embossing die used for the outer lid, but its colour scheme and finishing effects are reversed relative to the exterior. The inner lid is finished with traditional hot stamping combined with four-colour printing that incorporates a cold foil aesthetic.
The core concept of this box design is to showcase the distinct differences between hot stamping and cold foil stamping. Cold foil is processed inline alongside printing, which enables overprinting with four-colour inks. It works perfectly for large flat top surfaces requiring gradient and reverse foil effects. By contrast, hot stamping produces more luxurious metallic shine, crisp fine edges and stronger adhesion durability, making it the premium finishing choice for the inner lid
