Guerlain calls for action to mark World Bee Day
Guerlain Collaborates with Artist Céline Cléron to Highlight Bee Conservation on World Bee Day
In honour of World Bee Day, luxury brand Guerlain has partnered with renowned French artist Céline Cléron, known for her advocacy for animal rights, to raise awareness about the importance of bees. Cléron has reimagined the bottle and packaging of Guerlain’s Abeille Royale Advanced Youth Watery Oil, transforming it into a vibrant field of flowers teeming with buzzing bees. Her artwork serves as a colourful reminder of bees’ vital role in maintaining a balanced ecosystem.
Cléron has also created a series of watercolour drawings illustrating simple actions that individuals can take to protect bees in their surroundings to further promote bee conservation. These include planting melliferous flowers that provide nourishing nectar and pollen, allowing parts of gardens to grow wild, and ensuring bees have access to water. With nearly 90% of the world’s wild flowering plants relying on pollinators, particularly bees, these drawings highlight the urgent need for their protection.
