Starbucks and Grubhub unite for enhanced delivery experience
New partnership introduces multi-packaging solutions and expands Starbucks delivery nationwide
Starbucks and Grubhub have partnered to enhance foodservice delivery for Starbucks customers across the United States. As the most searched merchant not yet available on Grubhub’s Marketplace, Starbucks will debut on the platform, meeting the growing demand for convenient delivery services.
To ensure quality and streamline delivery, Starbucks has developed multiple packaging solutions, including two-cup to-go trays and improved shopper bags. Starting this month, Starbucks Delivery with Grubhub will be available in select markets in Pennsylvania, Colorado, and Illinois, with nationwide availability expected by August 2024.
Meg Mathes, Vice President of Digital Experiences at Starbucks, stated, “Customer demand to get Starbucks delivered continues to increase. Our new partnership with Grubhub will help fuel this growth by increasing the availability of Starbucks products to Grubhub’s tens of millions of customers via a leading delivery provider.”
Customers can access Starbucks Delivery through the Grubhub mobile app and website, with the ability to track their orders from preparation to drop-off. Liz Bosone, Vice President of Enterprise Partnerships at Grubhub, highlighted that this collaboration offers more choices and builds customer loyalty by combining national and independent restaurants.
This partnership aligns with the trend of sustainable packaging, with reusable packaging gaining popularity and consumer willingness to pay more for it.
