Security Seals
Prooftag security seals are engineered to deliver three complementary levels of functionality, ensuring product integrity, traceability, and unit-level authentication. I. INTEGRITY. Visible Protection Our tamper-evident seals instantly show if a product has been opened or altered. Available in transparent or branded designs, they protect products while enhancing packaging. • Clear tamper evidence • Sustainable alternative to cellophane • Clean, premium appearance II. IDENTIFICATION. Full Traceability With a unique serialized QR code, Prooftag Track & Trace seals allow each product to be identified and followed throughout its journey. • Unit-level tracking • Better supply chain control • Easy scanning by professionals and consumers III. AUTHENTICATION. Total Confidence Authentication seals combine integrity, traceability, and individual authentication in one powerful solution — ensuring every single product is genuine. • One seal, full protection • Individual verification per unit • Maximum anti-counterfeiting security

Track & Trace
Prooftag’s Track & Trace solution enables brands to regain full control over their products, from production to the final market, through reliable and secure item-level traceability. 1. Production and quality management Each product is assigned a unique, tamper-proof identifier, enabling precise monitoring at every stage of the production and packaging process. The solution provides real-time visibility over product flows, facilitates quality control, batch management, and non-conformity traceability. In the event of an issue, corrective actions can be taken faster and more efficiently, reducing operational risks and associated costs. 2. Commercial monitoring and parallel market control Thanks to item-level traceability, Prooftag’s Track & Trace solution makes it possible to monitor how products actually circulate across markets. Brands can identify distribution channels, detect logistical deviations, and pinpoint unauthorized resale areas. This enhanced visibility strengthens the fight against parallel markets, protects official distribution networks, and supports better commercial decision-making through reliable field data. With its Track & Trace solution, Prooftag turns traceability into a powerful industrial and commercial management tool, helping brands improve performance and protect their markets.

GS1 Digital Link
GS1 Digital Link is a GS1 standard that transforms a product identifier ( for example GTIN) into a unique, structured web link. Embedded in a QR code or DataMatrix, it connects physical products to trusted digital information through a single, standardized access point. Prooftag has a dedicated system to generate and seamlessly integrate GS1 QR codes into its authentication & traceability solutions, enabling brands to deploy this standard efficiently across their products. In the cosmetics and alcohol industries, GS1 Digital Link plays a key role in meeting regulatory requirements while enhancing transparency and consumer engagement. By scanning a single code, different stakeholders can access tailored content depending on their needs. For consumers, GS1 Digital Link can provide clear usage instructions, ingredient lists, and allergen information, particularly critical for cosmetics and alcoholic beverages. Brands can also share regulatory & compliance information, ensuring alignment with local & international regulations. From an operational perspective, GS1 Digital Link supports end-to-end traceability across the supply chain. It helps manufacturers and distributors track products, manage recalls, and fight counterfeiting. It also enables brands to communicate sustainability & recyclability information, like packaging materials, environmental commitments, and proper disposal instructions. Beyond compliance, GS1 Digital Link creates new marketing and engagement opportunities. Brands can integrate loyalty programs, personalized content, and promotions, all while using the same QR code already present on the product. By replacing multiple codes with one future-proof standard, GS1 Digital Link simplifies packaging, strengthens trust, and creates a direct digital connection between brands, products, and users—making it a powerful tool for both the cosmetics and alcohol sectors, especially when integrated into secure solutions like those developed by Prooftag.

Digital Product Passport
At Prooftag, the Digital Product Passport (DPP) is a standardized digital identity assigned to physical products. It supports regulatory compliance, product traceability, and access to reliable product information across the value chain. The DPP enables products to carry verified and structured data over time, accessible through standardized digital carriers such as QR codes, DataMatrix, RFID, or NFC. Purpose of a DPP The implementation of the Digital Product Passport is driven by: • European regulatory frameworks, including Ecodesign, ESPR, and sector-specific regulations • Requirements for transparency, sustainability, and traceability • Expectations from authorities, market surveillance bodies, and consumers for reliable product data • The need to prevent counterfeiting, fraud, and greenwashing The DPP is a regulatory and structural obligation. Characteristics The Digital Product Passport is not a communication or marketing tool. It is not a landing page, a campaign QR code, or a static database. It is characterized by: • International standards and GS1-compliant identifiers • Product- or batch-level identification • Data governance covering integrity, access management, and traceability • Long-term data availability • Interoperability with authorities, partners, and digital platforms Prooftag’s DPP framework Prooftag approaches the DPP as a product identity infrastructure. This framework is based on: • A unique and persistent product identity • A secure physical–digital link • Controlled access to data for use cases including regulatory compliance, supply chain traceability, market surveillance, and consumer information Prooftag ensures data reliability and integrity across all uses. Technical foundations Prooftag’s DPP relies on GS1 QR codes and DataMatrix, serialization and Track & Trace systems, and secure data management and governance mechanisms. These technologies are interoperable and scalable across multiple industries.

Product Experience Passport
At Prooftag, the Product Experience Passport™ (PEP) is a brand-controlled, product-specific digital experience accessed directly through the product. It connects consumers to official brand content, services, and commerce. PEP is about experience and activation, not regulation. PEP is not a regulatory tool, a Digital Product Passport (DPP), an ESG system, or any mandatory product database. Anything imposed or standardized by regulation belongs to DPP, not PEP. PEP exists to help brands own the product–consumer relationship, deliver trusted information, drive engagement and conversion, and activate products beyond the point of sale — including in secondary markets. It is brand-value driven, not compliance-driven. Through PEP, brands define their own experiences: product information and storytelling, usage guidance and tutorials, official commerce and re-ordering, loyalty and community engagement, and brand-controlled second-life services such as resale and ownership transfer. Authenticity enables PEP. Only genuine products unlock the experience, protecting both the brand and the consumer. PEP is powered by secure physical identifiers (Bubble Tag®, FiberTag®, Ramdot®, Variogram®, DataCrypt), GS1 QR codes or DataMatrix, and optional NFC or RFID — selected to support trust and experience, not regulation.
