EcoVadis Platinum is placing the company among the top 1% of organisations worldwide for sustainability performance.
Holmen’s 2026 assessment marks the first time the entire Board and Paper business area has been evaluated as one company – a milestone that builds on years of Platinum results at each individual mill. Until now, every mill has undergone its own EcoVadis assessment, consistently achieving the highest possible rating every time an assessment has been made. The 2026 company‑wide evaluation confirms that this exceptional performance holds true across the whole business, demonstrating strong, aligned sustainability practices throughout Holmen Board and Paper.
What is EcoVadis?
EcoVadis is a global provider of business sustainability ratings, evaluating more than 130,000 companies worldwide. Its universal scoring system enables comparisons both within industries and across regions, offering a transparent view of sustainability performance. The methodology is built on international standards and is designed to help organisations monitor their suppliers and make responsible purchasing decisions.
What does EcoVadis Platinum mean?
Platinum is the highest of EcoVadis’ four medal levels (Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum), awarded only to the very best performers. A Platinum score means the company demonstrates leadership across all assessment areas, with strong well-integrated practices. Since only 1% of the assessed companies can achieve this level, a company must not only maintain but continuously improve its sustainability work to keep a Platinum rating over time.
What is measured with EcoVadis’ scorecards?
