Every Braille dot is inspected for relative position and quality, along with registration and alignment of the entire text, giving complete assurance that the Braille is both correct and readable.
To complement and supplement its Braille gluing line, Falconer have also added a Dot Scanner into its finishing operating procedures. The recent investment gives full confidence that braille heights conform to the new CEN and BS standards. It reads, measures and verifies braille dots, providing an automated readout for full recorded conformance to meet customer's legislative needs.
