• Sustainable Material Sourcing: Sawmill wood waste is used to create the pulp for our trays, minimizing wood waste and promoting sustainable forestry practices. All material is sourced from sustainably managed forests very close to the mills.
• Significant Plastic Reduction: Trays can be sealed in map and skin to achieve exceptional performance with minimal plastic content (less than 10%) is a significant breakthrough, enabling extended shelf life and microwave use while minimizing plastic waste.
• Enhanced Recyclability:
o Standard Recyclability: Our trays are designed for standard paper recycling streams, contributing to a circular economy. Our trays have been assessed for recyclability according to the CEPI 2 method, demonstrating their compatibility with standard paper recycling streams.
o Improved Recyclability with Liner Separation: The option for removable liners (PP, PE, and bio-based) further enhances recyclability by allowing for easy separation and proper recycling of both the tray and the liner. Bio-based liners can be composted, while the clean fibers go into paper recycling.
