It automatically shortens cartons to match their highest point of filling, and then glues a lid securely in place. Products are first placed into a standard carton with a standardized footprint size. The Cut’it!™ EVO machine detects the maximum height taken up by the carton’s contents, and cuts the edges of the carton automatically, creating flaps of the excessive material. It folds the flaps over the products ready for shipping, and finally applies and glues a lid onto the folded flaps. The outcome is a smaller, easy-to-open and tamper-proof box with tear-off strips in an optimized size with minimal amount of air in the box. The machine is controlled via a user-friendly 12-inch color user interface. The online services provide optimal transparency with productivity insights, online assistance and support, including access to integrated video cameras. Placed at a very ergonomic height, motorized and horizontal, this magazine has a standard length of 1840 mm, which offers high autonomy. Lids are extracted from the magazine with dedicated piloted suction cups.
