Movopack x OVS: Drive-to-store shopping bag

As one of Italy’s largest fashion retailers, OVS has long been committed to more responsible retail. Together with Movopack, the brand introduced a fully customized reusable packaging designed to travel safely, stay on‑brand, and return to the retail network after unboxing. Selected online orders now ship in a durable returnable packaging that customers can send back in two simple ways: drop it into any postbox, or bring it to any OVS store. And for OVS Friends members, returning it in‑store unlocks 10% off their next purchase — turning a sustainable gesture into a loyalty‑building reward. Each packaging unit can be reused more than 20 times, cutting up to 98% of packaging waste and 84% of CO₂ emissions compared to single‑use cardboard boxes. But the most meaningful impact happens in store: increased foot traffic, stronger engagement, and incremental revenue driven by the return incentive. By closing the loop between online and offline, OVS transforms packaging from a cost into a channel that reduces waste, rewards customers, and brings people back into the brand experience.

    3. Movopack x Yamamay: Drive-to-store shopping bag

Movopack x Yamamay: Drive-to-store shopping bag

Yamamay is reshaping what a retail bag can do. What began in 2023 as a reusable packaging option for e‑commerce orders has evolved into something far more ambitious: a reusable shopping bag available in every Yamamay store across Italy, designed not just to replace single‑use paper bags but to actively pull customers back into the brand ecosystem. The Yamamay Club Bag is the centerpiece of this shift. Integrated into the Yamamay Club loyalty program, it rewards customers with 30 points every time they reuse it, return it in‑store, or drop it at a collection point. A QR code and a plug‑and‑play web app make the experience effortless — one scan, and the return is logged and points are assigned automatically. The real breakthrough is what happens when online and offline meet. Customers can now return reusable packaging from their online orders directly in‑store, creating a single circular system that connects every channel and gives shoppers a new reason to walk back through the door. Each bag is built for more than 20 reuse cycles, avoiding over 8 tons of packaging waste every year. And at €0.99, it pays for itself while driving store traffic, boosting loyalty sign‑ups, and encouraging repeat visits — all without adding operational complexity. By merging sustainability, loyalty, and technology into one simple gesture, Yamamay becomes the first fashion brand in Italy to make reusable packaging truly omnichannel.

    4. Mulberry Green

      Mulberry Green

Mulberry Green is the brand's signature shade and also emblematic of their commitment to social responsibility. The bespoke Mulberry Green colour was created at the mill in 2015, working jointly with G.F Smith. Mulberry is focussed on introducing new, innovative packaging solutions to reduce their impact on our planet. Every sheet of Mulberry Green paper has 50% post-consumer waste including CupCycling™ fibre from cup waste. 2.5 billion disposable coffee cups are thrown away each year. James Cropper has introduced specialised CupCycling™ technology to combat this problem. The innovative zero waste process removes the plastic lining from the paper cup, allowing both to be recycled separately. The paper fibre is then combined with other post-consumer waste and wood from sustainably managed forests to create paper for Mulberry Green packaging.
