1. Smart Material Design
Our trays are made from virgin FSC®-certified wood fibre, combined with a very thin functional film layer.
→ Delivers shelf-life extension and resistance to microwave and conventional oven, with minimal plastic use.
2. Proven Paper Recyclability
All trays in the Nature by Rottneros® range are recyclable in standard paper mills.
Independently tested according to CEPI Recyclability Laboratory Test Method – Version 3 (Feb 2025) Standard Mill recyclability confirmed under the 4evergreen (4EG) evaluation protocol
3. Designed for Easy Separation
Trays are supplied with a peel tab enabling easy liner separation.
→ Plastic and fibre can be separated manually before disposal.

✔ Tested according to Aticelca 502:2022, the only recognized methodology for manual separability of paper-based multi-materials
