Pearlfisher, a renowned design agency, is celebrating the successful collaboration with craft gin brand Sipsmith London Dry gin, marking a significant revamp in its packaging design.
The new bottle introduced by Sipsmith boasts up to 44% recycled content and is 20% lighter than its predecessor, aligning with sustainability goals. Additionally, by eliminating the use of a “wax-dipped” lid, the company anticipates saving seven tonnes of plastic annually.
Sam Galsworthy, co-founder of Sipsmith, expressed his satisfaction with the new design, highlighting its environmental benefits without compromising packaging quality. He stated, “This beautiful new bottle design shows that it is possible to reduce environmental impact significantly without compromising the quality of the packaging. The joy for me here is in all the details – from a more sustainable closure to some hidden gems within the design. When you hold it in your hand, it’s far easier to pour from, which will please bartenders and sippers alike.”
Overall, the collaboration between Pearlfisher and Sipsmith represents a milestone in sustainable packaging design, offering a blend of eco-friendliness and functionality that delights both consumers and industry professionals.
