Cox & Co Revolutionizes Chocolate Packaging with World’s First Paper Flow Wrap
From Collection to Certification, How Aldi Leads the Way in Plastic Waste Reduction
In a groundbreaking move, single origin chocolate brand Cox & Co proudly announces the launch of the world’s first paper flow wrap chocolate packaging, marking a pivotal shift towards sustainability.
By pioneering this innovative packaging solution, Cox & Co takes a decisive step towards eliminating plastic from its packaging repertoire, offering consumers a kerbside recyclable alternative.
With a minimum shelf life of 12 months, Cox & Co’s pioneering paper flow wrap holds the promise of significantly reducing the staggering amount of chocolate packaging waste destined for landfills.
Founder Gavin Cox underscores the growing consumer demand for sustainable products, stating, “Consumers are now actively seeking brands that take sustainability seriously and products that are easy to recycle. Chocolate is a popular household purchase and yet so little of the packaging can be easily recycled at kerbside.”
In addition to its environmental benefits, this revolutionary packaging innovation allows Cox & Co to slash packaging costs by an impressive 35%. This cost-saving measure not only offsets potential price hikes but also ensures the brand’s continued ability to offer its delectable bars at a competitive price point.
Cox emphasises the dual victory of this initiative, stating, “This will make a significant difference to our costs overall. We can effectively keep prices competitive whilst doing our bit to reduce our environmental impact; it’s a win-win.”
With its commitment to sustainability and innovation, Cox & Co sets a new standard in the chocolate industry, demonstrating that environmental responsibility and commercial success can indeed go hand in hand.
