All you need to know about entering the London Packaging Week Innovation Awards
Do you have what it takes?
The judges are looking for the latest and greatest branded products and innovations available to the UK public market over the past year between May 2024 and May 2025. This ensures our judges are looking at the most recent, products and projects available.
It’s important to note, that after you have submitted your entry online, you will have to send a sample of the product to be assessed by our industry leading jury at the in-person Judging Day. Once you submit your entry, you will be emailed the full address of where you should send the samples and a deadline for us to receive your product(s).

Technological Innovation
How has your product changed the game for your client? Whether it’s smarter material use, seamless tech integration, or boosting efficiency in manufacturing and distribution, we want to see how your work delivers real impact. If your solution enhances trade performance or e-commerce success, now’s the time to showcase it.

Design Excellence
Is your packaging pushing creative boundaries? If your redefining aesthetics, challenging functionality norms or showcasing expert craftsmanship – this is your chance to get recognised. The judges are looking for packaging that stands out!

Consumer Experience
How does your packaging captivate consumers? The judges want to see designs that transform the user experience. Entries should demonstrate a deep understanding of consumer needs through aesthetics, functionality, and personalisation.

The Luxury & Premium Packaging Innovation Awards are open to products that have launched, or are due to launch on the UK market between May 2024 and May 2025.
Only brand products can enter the Innovation Awards. Suppliers and designers may enter with a brand’s consent, and the brand must be present to collect the award.

The Perfume, Cosmetics & Personal Care Innovation Awards are open to products with a retail price of over £20 that have launched, or are due to launch on the UK market between May 2024 and May 2025.
Only brand products can enter the Innovation Awards. Suppliers and designers may enter with a brand’s consent, and the brand must be present to collect the award.

The Innovation Awards celebrate the best innovations in the UK packaging industry. Following on from the successful first year of the awards, this year will see a 20 judges asssess your packs all from different backgrounds and expertise in the world of luxury, beauty, drinks, and FMCG.

Brands of products!
If you’re a supplier or a designer and you’d like to put a brand forward, you can most certainly apply as well, but, it must be with the consent of a brand, and should you win, someone from the brand must come on stage with the supplier or design agency to receive the prize.
Entries close on Friday 2 May. You will also need to send us a sample of your product to our offices in Twickenham by Friday 23 May.
Yes! There is no limit on how many products you can enter. Increase your chance of winning by submitting more products.

No – the London Packaging Week Innovation Awards is a free-to-enter competition.
The products you submit need to be available to the public in the UK market between May 2024 and May 2025. Anything that’s not available will not be accepted.
The awards are judged by an independent panel of industry professional from leading brands who are looking for:
- Transformative, technical or process driven innovations
- Innovation linked to the consumer experience.
- Emotional connection and brand expression
- Quality of packaging perceived.
- Sustainable and environmentally conscious
The finalists will be announced in early August.
The winners will be announced on day 2 of London Packaging Week on Thursday 16 October.
