In a strategic move towards environmental sustainability, Colpac has teamed up with Inspired PLC, a renowned sustainability consultancy, to assess and manage its scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions. The company is not only measuring its carbon footprint but has also outlined net zero targets for each scope, demonstrating its commitment to a greener future.
Talia Goldman, ESG manager at Colpac, underlined the significance of this initiative, stating, “Developing a net zero programme is an integral part of our commitment to the environment and to responsible business.” She further highlighted that this effort is not just about compliance but also supports customers in their own net zero journeys. The company aims to achieve scope 1 net zero by 2035 and scope 2 net zero by 2030, with an overarching net zero goal set for 2045.
