Nescafé launches refill pouches for Gold Blend and Original ranges
Nestlé-owned Nescafé has introduced an instant coffee refill pouch for Nescafé Gold Blend and Nescafé Original.
Nescafé has launched its new Gold Blend refill pouch across all major retailers, offering customers an eco-friendly alternative to traditional coffee packaging. The refill pouch is now available for purchase, while the Nescafé Original refill pouch is scheduled to be released at the end of March.
This move towards sustainable packaging is part of Nescafé’s commitment to reducing its environmental impact and promoting a more circular economy. The company hopes that customers will embrace these new options and make a positive impact on the planet.
The recently introduced 150g refill pouch is claimed to weigh 97% less than the 200g glass coffee jar and has a lid that uses approximately 60% less plastic than the jar’s lid.
After the contents of the refill pouch have been used, customers can recycle it in over 5000 stores throughout the UK and via kerbside collection in Ireland.
