Polytag, in collaboration with Conway Kombucha’s brand, Blighty Booch, has introduced a pioneering use of QR codes on their drink labels. These distinct QR codes are seamlessly integrated across the entirety of Blighty Booch’s product range. Utilizing Screen technology at Limpet Labels in Wrexham, Polytag’s QR codes have become an integral part of the standard digital printing process.

Once scanned, these QR codes offer consumers a gateway to customisable, branded landing pages. Mark Pavey, director at Blighty Booch, expressed immense enthusiasm for the partnership with Polytag: “We are thrilled to join forces with Polytag and benefit from its exciting technology.” Pavey highlighted the added value these codes bring, stating, “Doing so not only provides our consumers with detailed product information straight to their phones, but it also gives us an additional direct-to-consumer sales and marketing channel that we didn’t have access to before.”

Furthermore, Pavey lauded the innovation of the unique-every-time QR codes, emphasizing their potential to transform the brand-consumer relationship. Alice Rackley, chief executive at Polytag, expanded on the advantages of this collaboration, noting, “Not only will the codes provide Blighty Booch with an opportunity to communicate directly with consumers about their products, ingredients, health benefits and more, but they will also enable the company – via the easy-to-construct bespoke landing page – to send consumers straight to their online shop.”

The QR codes offer Blighty Booch an avenue to provide consumers with product details, the latest offers, recycling guidance, and easy access to the brand’s online shop. Additionally, Polytag’s platform promises to equip Blighty Booch with valuable insights into consumption patterns and regional sales data.

Pavey expressed excitement about the transformative potential of this innovation in complementing their existing marketing strategies. “We are really looking forward to seeing how they complement our other marketing efforts,” he said.

The union of Polytag’s cutting-edge technology and Blighty Booch’s commitment to engaging consumers signals a new frontier in direct-to-consumer marketing. This innovative approach not only enhances consumer access to product information but also provides Blighty Booch with unprecedented direct sales and marketing channels. The introduction of these revolutionary QR codes stands as a testament to the evolving landscape of consumer-brand interactions.
