Knoll Printing & Packaging has been awarded a Gold medal from EcoVadis in recognition of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) achievements. EcoVadis is the world’s most trusted provider of business sustainability ratings, intelligence, and collaborative performance improvement tools for global supply chains. Knoll ranks among the top 6% of all companies, as assessed by EcoVadis. This is the third consecutive year Knoll Packaging has received a Gold medal.

Knoll Packaging was evaluated on the strengths of its policies, action and results for Environment, Labor & Human Rights, Ethics and Sustainable Procurement. Knoll was commended for its strengths of employee engagement, environmental policies, including carbon offset, renewable energy, and measurements to reduce energy consumption, use of alternative and eco-friendly materials, packaging design, and data reporting. Ecovadis also remarked on Knoll’s GHG monitoring and reporting, as well as its response to CDP.

Wincy Cheng, Global Director of Sustainability at Knoll Packaging, said, “Ecovadis provides companies like Knoll a benchmark to guide us on our sustainability journey. As more companies join the platform, the assessment standard will become stricter, and it will be a challenge for companies to be recognized with a medal. This reinforces our motivation to continually improve our sustainability performance as we strive to be the leader and set the standard for the luxury packaging industry.”

In addition to Ecovadis reporting, Knoll Packaging also submits to the Carbon Disclosure Project and patriciates in multiple action platforms with the United Nations Global Compact. Knoll also uses design innovation and advanced manufacturing technologies to continuously promote environmentally practices. This demonstrates our ongoing commitment to continuously improve, monitor, and report our sustainability efforts.
